Overview

Wheel of Food ("the App") is a free restaurant picker app developed by Charles Anderson. This policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is used.

Location Data

The App requests access to your device's location to find nearby restaurants. Your location is sent to Google Places API to retrieve restaurant results. Location data is not stored on any server, collected, or shared with third parties beyond this API request.

Data Storage

The App stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Your restaurant preferences (enabled/disabled restaurants)
• Recent spin results
• Cached restaurant data for faster loading

This data never leaves your device and can be cleared by uninstalling the App or clearing its app data.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google Places API - to retrieve nearby restaurant information and photos. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• logo.dev - to retrieve restaurant brand logos when Google Photos are unavailable.

Advertising

The App displays banner ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Data Collection

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information beyond what is described above. There are no user accounts, analytics, or tracking.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13.
